I took this photo week when I visited Alcatraz. This view is as you come out of the cellhouse door and into the prison yard. I couldn't help but take it as I stepped out of the darkness and into the light. This is a 3 exposure HDR edited in both Lightroom and Photoshop. #photovixens

Still running around SF siteseeing on only an hr sleep last night... Took this from pier 14 just now. The view looking towards the bay bridge was beautiful but I liked this one so much more! This was taken at ISO 100 with a 30 second shutter and an aperture of 18. I would have taken it at 22 and had a longer exposure but like a dummy I left my shutter release cable in the car. A nice older Austrian gentlemen struck up a conversation with me as I waited for each long exposure that I took. I did a quick edit on my tablet but can't wait to let the Alien at this one! #photovixens #alienware #sanfran #sanfrancisco #sf #transamerica
