Thank you Dr @kyleButh of @elevatesph for taking time this afternoon to see me! My back had been hurting a ton from over 2 months and hundreds of masks sewn while bent over my machine.. I somehow popped a rib out a week and a half ago and I just couldn’t get it back in like I usually do... so I headed over to Elevate SPH (which is RIGHT near my house btw)! JI was only supposed to have a 30 minute visit but Dr Buth took extra time in explaining exercises and options to keep me out of pain after he adjusted me head to toe! Hello, just me.. I have to admit I’m exhausted... my back is hurting, being bent over the sewing machine for so many hours. - I got out and about yesterday, didn’t really touch the sewing machine.. it was mentally helpful for sure. I’m still trying to stay home a lot if I can... I know everyone is burnt out by all of this but I want everyone to stay strong; adjusting to this new way of life isn’t the hardest thing many of us have ever had to do. I wear a mask in public, not for me, but for YOU. I want you to know that I am educated enough to know that I could be asymptomatic and still give you the virus. No, I don’t “live in fear” of the virus, I just want to be a part of the solution, not the problem. I don’t feel like the “government is controlling me”, I feel like I’m being a contributing adult to society and I want to teach others the same. The world doesn’t revolve around me. It’s not all about me and my comfort. If we all could live with other people's consideration in mind, this whole world would be a much better place. Wearing a mask doesn’t make me weak, scared, stupid or even “controlled”, it makes me considerate. When you think about how you look, or how uncomfortable it is or what others think of you, just imagine someone close to you. A father, a mother, grandparent, Aunt or uncle choking on a respirator. Then ask yourself if you could have sucked it up a little for them. Feel free to copy, paste and share. What does your Cinco look like today vs previous years? - 2 years ago I was REALLY on some adventures. I remember wondering if I should stay in vegas for Cinco or take off to utah to meet up with @the.curly.nomad.
