We pulled off hiking about 1.5 miles & back on Badwater basin, driving 42 miles, hiking a mile across the Mesquite Flat Sand dunes and back, driving another 40 miles to Zabriskie Point to catch the waning light of day and this photo, all in under 4 hours. I'm so thrilled to have seen these amazing places with my own eyes! All the driving back and forth was to try and catch optimal lighting for photos. Now we left Vegas at 2am and we're in Utah headed up to Escalante for some more adventures!
