Tuesday night was the new moon so it was time for my monthly journey to see the milky way. Unfortunately I was in LA so unless I wanted to drove 2.5 hrs to Joshua Tree, I had to figure something out to get away from the light pollution of the city. So we headed north past the Angeles Mountains near Pyramid Lake and then took a small sort road until I found this photo.
