Photo Caption: Here’s a living photo I did of El Castillo, the pyramid in the Mayan Ruins of Chichen Itza. I used @flixelphotos to create it. One of my bucket lists includes the ruins of the world so I was happy to be able to cross this one off my list. .

When I create a cinemagraph, I am always looking for 2 things. Something that is moving, and something you know should be. This is what makes it look like a living photo to me, and differentiates it from a video. So if you ask me if this is real, yes it indeed was-from the people, to the birds flying above, to the pyramid itself! .
