Last night was my 2nd…

Photo Caption: Last night was my 2nd year in a row shooting for @circus_couture. This is a yearly charity event raising money for pediatric cancer treatment & research. I love being a part of something special like this with all the cirque performers, people donating and the children themselves. Shooting a live event like this is always a challenge with all the different lighting dynamics and different situations I am shooting in as the roaming photographer. The smiles on their faces make every single hour I worked worth it.
The costumes are an absolute treat to shoot as well. For this particular shot, I positioned myself at the top of the runway just under the models so I could use the stage lights as hair lights. I really loved this gown and would love to wear it some day-you will have to check circus-couture.com tomorrow to see the full photo as well as all of the photos I took!
