Don’t ever believe anyone when you’re told not to shoot into the sun. It’s one of my favorite directions to shoot. I love to make the sun look like a star. In this situation, I have my 24-70 on my 7d. I bumped my aperture to 22 and shot at 1/250. I wasn’t getting the shot I wanted so I sped up the shutter to 1/500 and this is the result. Always remember to push up to the max aperture and adjust ur shutter speed accordingly. Once the sun was behind the clouds, the star effect no longer worked as the clouds work as a diffuser of sorts.. I edited this on my tablet using google snapseed.
