Just left Phuket airport. What a night and day diff from Bangkok airport! @tigermuaythai had a driver, joe there to pick me up. I was worried that I wouldn’t get Internet in the airport like last year, but boingo came through and saved the day. I had switched my boingo package to a SE asia one as I sat in the airport in Bangkok. Note- I did NOT bring my cell phone on this trip and am communicating thru my iPad. I have my texts being forwarded to me from my phone to my email on a BB app called txtforward. When I landed in both airports- I grabbed some if the free SIM cards that have a little bit of time on them- stuck one in my router and voila, Internet till I get to my hotel!
