- What a trip this was… last year today I was here…Repost:The main reason for this trip was to get photos of the flowers at Rainier… we stopped off the side of the road on Monday and got this selfie, and then spent the night shooting the flowers and the Milkyway in front of the infamous monstrosity! - Got to train with my good buddy @the_real_cttsolutions yesterday out here in Houston! I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to train whatever your carry method is for self protection. I don’t do it enough and it was humbling!! Makes me think I need to get that firearm out and train so much more rather than shooting all my fun stuff… thank you so much Mike; I learned so much about myself yesterday!who out there bought a firearm for self protection and hasn’t trained with it yet? Who has questions? Who bought insurance in case you shoot someone? - About to get on the road again.. excited to be taking @dogoasawa out on an adventure for a few weeks… I love to drive; I love the time think, or to call people and catch up… Things aren’t 100% with me right now, and I’m hoping this drive can help me get that all lined back up and in order… it’s not any mental health issues, it’s definitely just some personal stuff that I’m working out in my life and some decisions I’m trying to make on life direction. Believe it or not, a good amount of it has to do with social media, as funny as that sounds. I took a good break for a couple weeks and barely posted on most of my accounts.. now that I’m coming back, we’ll see if it helps but the changes on IG are pretty upsetting and heartbreaking for a photographer such as myself..Enough complaining, time to pack up and get on the road! - Thank God my battery went out prior to me leaving town today. Thank God that it was The battery and not the alternator, and still under warranty. thankfully I was right near the auto parts store when it happened so I didn’t need to get towed anywhere, and I was able to swap it out quickly and only got about an hour and a half behind schedule.
